Being an I-Scan Panel Member
The ACNielsen I-Scan Panel measures the snacks and soft drinks you buy and consume away from home.
As an I-Scan Panel Member you will have the opportunity to be the voice of the consumer.
You will be helping manufacturers and retailers decide what products they produce and stock, as you will ultimately be showing
them what products you prefer to buy. |

What you will need to Scan
We ask you to scan all your snacks and soft drinks (as well as tobacco products) that you buy and then
consume away from home.
Types of items include: soft drinks, chocolates, sweets, chewing gum, ice-cream,
lollies, sandwiches, rolls, wraps, grocery products, snacks such as crisps, biscuits, cakes and hot fast food.
Note: items that are bought and taken home to consume should not be scanned. |

Your Reward - Weekly Transmission Points
For every week you transmit your scanned data, you will earn transmission points.
These can then be saved and exchanged for items featured in our 'Gift List'.
You will also receive bonus points after your first successful data transmission, and further points after
you have transmitted 5 weeks with data. |

Regular Prize Draws and Newsletters
A different prize draw is held every 4 weeks. Prizes have included: DVD players, hand-held TVs, touch screen organisers, personal stereos, i-pods, and other great prizes.
As an I-Scan Panel Member, you will receive a separate entry into each prize draw for every week you transmit your data. So, if you transmit your data every week for 4 weeks running, you will be entered into the prize draw 4
times. Regular newsletters are posted on the website.
